 Eddie Van Halen was the subject and how EVH how looked at the guitar and his tone differently than anyone before. EVH produced sounds never before heard; sound we only associate with him and Van Halen. Morello also shared a story about his 1st guitar, a Gibson Explorer, and how his experimentation with the tone knob helped define his sound that we know associate with Rage Against the Machine, Audio Slave/Chris Cornell, Prophets of Rage ect. He also touched on his record on college collection and what his room mate hated, Ozzy Osbourne, Dokken. Geeyyad, glad we had cool room mates.
