Les Claypool of Primus has written and directed a new short film pulling in the slap bass and acting chops of none other than Ro bert Trujillo of Metallica.
Claypool uses his music video and filmography skills to shoot this wacky ode' to the old west that would make even "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" crack a forced smile. I can see Lee Van Cleef now. Claypool digs for, and finds gold, only to have his claim-jumped by Trujillo. A Primus-style slap-bass showdown ensues with the pair showing off their new EMG pick-ups. Spoiler alert, this is actually a promo video for the EMG Pickups endorsed by the Primus and Metallica vets.
