This month marks the anniversary of AC/DC For Those About to Rock album release in 1981. Imagine having to follow up Back in Black with a new studio recording. No place to go but down right? The For Those About to Rock world tour added new stage craft with the addition of the AC/DC Cannon. The band closed the set by firing an entire back line of prop cannons that hammered AC/DC Superfans with pulverizing site and sound. The Cannon has been a staple for AC/DC live ever since. We created the Rock Iconz® On Tour™ Limited Edition Statue to celebrate this iconic piece of stage-dress. The Knucklebonz blog photo shows the Cannon atop amps just like the AC/DC lives shows.
