Randy Rhoads Rock Iconz – “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back”

Here’s a quick update of Randy Rhoads Rock Iconz® Production and Shipping.

The 1st wave of production actually wrapped at the end of March and began making it’s way to our USA warehouse. Sadly, it has been sitting on the container ship off the San Francisco Bay now for over a month waiting for a slot at the port to off load. Each day, we hope for a notice that we are cleared to doc at the port of Oakland, but we continue to wait. This is the frustrating part of our business, and especially so in the Covid-World as it’s the one thing we have no control over. All we can do is promise if to keep you updated the second it  is released to go through US Customs and begin the short trip to our US warehouse.

The 2nd production wave of Randy Rhoads Rock Iconz Ltd. Edition Statues  is also complete, but we got some unhappy news earlier this week about International ports. There has been a new Covid outbreak and work slow down there, so these Randy Rhoads Rock Iconz are now waiting there for our turn to load onto our Container ship to come to the US. This is why the title of this blog entry is “One step forward, two steps back.

We know that all are exciting to get these new Randy Rhoads Rock Iconz and we will do everything we can to expedite the shipping process once we get the initial inventory checked in to our US warehouse. Make sure you are signed up for email alerts to get all the news.

The hand-painted and numbered collectibles feature Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon in a limited edition of only 3000 each.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE >>  March 11, 2021: KnuckleBonz® announces its plans to create a limited-edition Queen set of collectible statues. Rock Iconz statues of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon will be created featuring the band from their 1981 performance in Montreal.

The Queen Rock Iconz Collectible Statues are crafted by hand using a fine-arts process where each figure is hand-painted, numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity on the base. The Queen Rock Iconz set will be hand-cast and crafted in 1/9 scale, making the average height of each statue approximately 8.5” tall. These are limited edition statues; only 3000 each are created, making these highly collectible.

All work created by the company is officially licensed and approved by the artists and their management. KnuckleBonz, the creator of the Rock Iconz® music collectible series, has been developing iconic, high-quality statues of the legend of rock music since 2003.

The Queen Rock Iconz statues sell for $155 each (for each individual statue) or can be purchased as a set (bundle of all 4 statues) for $558 USD. Each statue ships in a custom package and ships worldwide. These highly exclusive, limited edition collectibles are now available for pre-order to reserve. Music You Can “See” – The Great Album Cover Artists and Designers of Rock

Not all heroes in the the KnuckleBonz Rock Iconz®, 3D Vinyl® and On Tour™ and On Tour Series played an instrument. The paint brush and camera lens also made music for all of us when wielded  by the great album cover artist and designers.

Before the digital age of music, Album and Poster art was and essential part of the music Superfan experience.  It the same flag many of us still fly today on the art we have in the house or the clothes we wear. Can you imagine  Pink Floyd’s legacy with the designs of Storm Thorgerson? The “Dark Side of the Moon” Prism, all of the “Wish You Were Here” “Hand Shakes” the “Delicate Sound of Thunder” “Lightbulb Man.” Aubrey Powell founded the great Hypgnosis (In Collaboration w/ Storm Thorgerson) and gave us classic Led Zeppelin cover art from “Houses of the Holy” and .  Could we ever  separate Pink Floyd “The Wall” from the illustrator and cartoonist Gerald Scarfe? We think not. So many of the great bands we love are so closely tied to the great artists that were associated with their album releases. Roger Dean defined the band “Yes” with unbelievable illustration and graphic design that almost let you here the albums before you dropped the needle. Many of us discovered the fantasy art master Frank Frazetta, from the album art of Molly Hatchet before we ever heard of “Conan the Barbarian” The list goes on. Can you imagine Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow without the “Rainbow Raising” cover painting of Ken Kelly? Oh yes, what we owe the KISS Destroyer cover to him as well…

For us, these images are as  as important as the music that plays when you drop the needle. It’s an essential part of why we are in our 18th year here at KnuckleBonz.
