Here’s the latest for all KnuckleBonz Ltd. Edition Products. This includes Live Productions, Pre-Orders as well as Back-Order products…

PRODUCTS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION: Here’s an update on the announced products currently in production.

*  Misfits Earth A.D. 3D Vinyl® – Production is in final stages and currently on schedule for the announced early 2022 ship date.

*  Pink Floyd Division Bell On Tour™ – Production is in final stages and currently on schedule for the announced early 2022 ship date.

* Billy Idol and Steve Stevens Rock Iconz®– Production is in the final stages and currently on schedule for the announced early 2022 ship date.

* Candlemass Epicus Domicus Metallicus 3D Vinyl®– Production is on schedule for the announced Spring 2022 ship date.

* Metallica Lady Justice On Tour™ – Production is going well and all is currently on schedule for the announced Spring 2022 ship date.

* Pantera Reinventing the Steel Rock Iconz® – Production just kicked off on the heals on the launch. Initial casting is going well and all looks good for a late spring ship date 2022.

BACK-ORDERS:  The following products are on back order and have completed production. The latest update on shipping has an estimated arrival date to our warehouse in early to mid-December. It is scheduled to hit the US ports in mid to late November and then have to get through customs and trucking to set up at our US warehouse. Because we can’t ensure how long these could be held up at the ports or in customs, we would not be able to guarantee these products will be available to ship for the holidays. We will give any new updates as we receive them from the shipping companies.

Metallica Lady Justice Rock Iconz On Tour Statue Announced

KnuckleBonz® Metallica Lady Justice Rock® Iconz On Tour™ Statue has launched and is now available for Pre-Order. This hand cast limited edition will be limited to only 1988 Metallica Superfans worldwide. Lady Justice is affectionally known by the Metallica camp as “Doris” stands 12 inches tall. She towers over the Metallica Rock Iconz Statue set of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo juts like show does when she appears in Metallica live stage-dress. This beautiful lady first appeared in 1988 as the cover art for Justice For All. This was a big commercial breakthrough for Metallica on the strength of the music video for “One.” The subsequent tour saw a huge step forward is live concert production. If you were there, you’ll  remember the lighting truss swinging down, showering sparks and Lady Justice fell to pieces behind the band as they closed with “…And Justice For All.” There’s great live video of this on  “Live Shit: Binge and Purge”.

Metallica And Justice for All – 33 Years Ago…Forever Tied to Jethro Tull

33 years ago Metallica released the …and Justice for All album. If there be such a thing for an under rated Metallica album, this is it as far as we are concerned here at KnuckleBonz®. We know, we know, there’s been all the talk about the mix of this record recently, but bottom line, this is thrash classic, with musicianship at it’s highest. Every song is strong and is a favorite for Metallica Superfans to this day when AJFA is included in any live set. “Blackened” and “The Shortest Straw” are diamonds and of course there is “One.” Many of the younger Metallica fans can point to that as their intro to the band via that great music video. There was still an MTV that played music videos at this point in 1988. We can’t talk about this era and not mention the comical Grammy faux pas. If you recall, Metallica was nominated for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal or Instrumental” and the Grammys continued their “Cluebaggerness” with the metal scene. The award went to none other than Jethro Tull. Too funny to this day.

A quick heavy metal heads up, we are hard at work on a new Limited Edition Collectible for And Justice for All in our 3D Vinyl ® Collectible Series. The cover art by Stephen Gorman, based on a concept developed by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich was a dream to design with. Staytuned for updates…

Metallica “Enter Sandman” #1 College Football Entrance

College Football traditions go back over 100 years and are steeped in ceremony.  One of the most exciting experiences of any game played on Saturday is when the home team entries their stadium prior to kick off. We were pleased to see that heavy metal, which is so often marginalized in pop culture, and even in the music industry, won the top spot in a recent Fanbuzz.com poll. Voted #1 over traditions from powerhouse schools’ like USC, Clemson and Notre Dame was VA Tech’s team entrance to “Enter Sandman” from Metallica. The entire stadium jumps up and down as the James Hetfield belts out the Metallica Black Album classic. It’s crazy to see…

Pictured here in today’s Blog is our Mercyful Fate Don’t Break the oath 3D Vinyl design. This is one of our favorites and it’s a perfect subject for 3D Vinyl as a wall mount or desktop mounted statue. We worked directly with King Diamond to get all the details just right. We spent a particular amount of time getting the hand to photo graph and display properly for the production. Only 1984 of this design will be cast.

Metallica Lars Ulrich Custom Packing – Rock Iconz

Here’s a a couple of shots showing the custom packing for the Rock Iconz® Collector Series. Pictured here are the designs for  Metallica Lars Ulrich’s Rock Iconz Ltd. Edition Statue. These are designed and drop tested to keep the statue safe as it travels to Metallica Superfans around the globe. There’s actually (2) designs as the Metallica production was done in multiple locations across different teams over the course of 2020 to keep things moving during multiple work stoppages due to Covid-19.

Some of our collectors have contacted us to say they are missing parts like drum sticks,  drum legs and microphone for James Hetfield. In most cases, it was simply a matter of not knowing the parts are shipped separately to avoid breakage of these very small and fragile parts. These shots in our Blog show the location of all the separate pieces for the Lars Rock Iconz Statue in the internal packing. In the case of the microphone for James and sticks for Lars , they are painted black and tend to blend into the custom shaped slots in the black custom packing.
