The band took time out this week to do an impromptu Unboxing of the Candlemass 3D Vinyl KnuckleBonz Ltd. Edition Statue. Check out the Unboxing Video here

This creation of the amazing Epicus Doomincus Metallicus album art is one of the current favorites here at the KnuckleBonz Studio. We felt like we needed a full 3D design on this one rather that the 12×12 format that is more given to wall mounting.

We just landed this Candlemass Limited Edition and it has just shipped to all pre-orders.

Candlemass “Epicus Doomicus Metallicus” is latest entry to the 3D Vinyl Collector Series

The doom “metalpiece” from Candlemass “Epicus Doomicus Metallicus” is latest entry to the 3D Vinyl® Collector Series from KnuckleBonz®. This 1986 release in considered a defining moment on the heavy metal timeline.

We launched pre-sales last Friday for Candlemass. The signature skull of Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is mounted atop dilapidated oak, not exactly “Under the Oak” if you will pardon the pun. Rusty barb wire encircles this design atop the classic Candlemass red logo. We went back and forth between the 12×12″ format we used for things like Mercyful Fate “Don’t Break the Oath” 3D Vinyl and this table top design. We opted for this ultimately because you Superfans have been telling us you prefer that format.

The Canlemass 3D Vinyl Ltd Edition Statue is  cast in resin and hand detailed. It stand’s 10 inches tall and ships with a color package and custom packing. Only 1986 of this design will be cast for Candlemass and Doom Metal Superfans around the world.

Pictured here in today’s Blog is our Mercyful Fate Don’t Break the oath 3D Vinyl design. This is one of our favorites and it’s a perfect subject for 3D Vinyl as a wall mount or desktop mounted statue. We worked directly with King Diamond to get all the details just right. We spent a particular amount of time getting the hand to photo graph and display properly for the production. Only 1984 of this design will be cast.
