Ozzy Osbourne Forced to Finally Stop Touring – A Day We Thought Would Never Come…

Woke up this AM to a heart felt note from the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne on his official Instagram account to learn that he has had to cancel his upcoming UK/European tour because of health reasons. He emphasized his voice is doing great, he’s just not able to take on the rigors and travel of a multi-city tour. A day all Black Sabbath and Ozzy fans thought would never come. Any true Ozzy fan knows how much he loves touring and performing.

Other than short term health issues, Ozzy has been on the road since the original Black Sabbath Shows in late 1969.  He had the cancel the final dates of his last world solo tour a few years ago. That really sucked because we had great seats for that show at the Shoreline in the SF Bay Area.  Stone Sour was the opener and he were actually on the way to show when that news dropped. Still remember the gut punch…

What Ozzy Osbourne fans can hope for is perhaps a residency in Las Vegas that has lots of great venues and removes the demands of touring travel. Rest up Prince of Darkness and let us know when you are ready…we will ALL be there!

This emphasizes the importance for all Superfans to get out there and see the great bands you love anytime you have a chance. You never know when the music will stop…

Do check out our KnuckleBonz Black Sabbath Ltd. Edition Statue set currently in production. The entire original band Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward is in production for a Summer 2023 release.

Ozzy Bark at the Moon Anniversary – 3D Vinyl Collectible Statue

November 15th, 1983 was the initial release date for Ozzy Osbourne Bark at the Moon. This was the 1st studio release since the tragic lose of Randy Rhoads and the debut of the amazing talent Jake E. Lee on guitar. The record was the 3rd Top 20 USA charting record for Ozzy and removed any doubt as to the band rebounding from loosing Randy.

KnuckleBonz 3D Vinyl Collectible Ltd. Edition Statue design for Bark at the Moon opted for the full statue design over the 12×12 format used on Diary of a Madman. The 3D Vinyl Series created the great album art we all love in 3D statue designs. Check out Ozzy Osbourne and all the 3D Vinyl Collectibles here.

Ozzy Osbourne Diary of a Madman KnuckleBonz 3D Vinyl – Created for the Music Super-Fan

Not every great album makes a great subject for a 3D Vinyl limited edition.

In 2019, the 3D Vinyl® Collectible Series from KnuckleBonz was created for the Super-Fan that just may not be into the statue and figure category we have created over the past 17 years. 3D Vinyl brings the great album art to life in 3D that can be both wall-mounted or desktop mounted.  Wall mounting was a big addition as we heard from fans, “this work is great, but I don’t have a good place to display it.” Wall mounting to the rescue…

Not every great album makes a great subject for a 3D Vinyl limited edition, but hard rock and metal fans around the world agree Ozzy Osbourne’s 2nd studio album ” Diary of a Madman “, the last with the great Randy Rhoads, is a perfect subject. Ozzy’s figure reaches toward you in the crazed-gaze from this 1981 photo shoot.  Statue comes complete with Ozzy’s home spun tattoos from that era, that would give way to the more elaborate work to come later in his solo career. The candle chandelier and wooden ceiling beams round out the 3D sculpture.

About The Black Crowes In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta’s Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money
Maker. Fueled by singles “Jealous Again,” “Twice As Hard,” “She Talks To Angels,” and the break-through cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle,” the
band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone’s “Best New America Band Readers Poll” in late 1990.   The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums, selling in the tens of millions along the way; they sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for
insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced, fought amongst themselves and against the rest
of the world.  In other words, they’ve done everything a legendary rock group should do.

Calicraft Brewing Co. (Calicraft.com) started with a passion for crafted beverages, with the belief that better products can create a better world. Beverages can be more than delicious; they can solve problems and support sustainability. Boogie Rock – Underrated to This Day

Just saw some studio footage of Grand Funk Railroad in the studio making the Multi-Platinum “We’re an American Band” album and it struck me how underrated the “Boogie Rock” bands are today. You know Mark Farner, Don Brewer and Mel Schacher SOLD OUT Shea Stadium faster than the Beatles for their 1971 concert. In a live setting, there’s no greater music than a set from bands like Foghat or ZZ Top. Even going further back to Bachman-Turner-Overdrive, drop the needle on the “Not Fragile” track. It’s still so heavy, but in that era…forgeddaboudit!  While labels fractured this music further with the “southern rock” label ect, it was still about great live music that made you want to stomp your feat. Even Angus Young described the early AC/DC days as being a “dance band.” Angus has said, “if people didn’t dance, they didn’t drink beer, and if they didn’t drink beer, you didn’t get invited back to play at that place.” It’s that simple.

Check out some of these great Boogie Rock Bands today like …Black Oak Arkansas, Brownsville Station, Humble Pie and Montrose with the great Ronnie Montrose. Yuh here us Sammy Hagar?

Rock Iconz Production Update January 2018

Hi All,

A quick production update for Live KnuckleBonz Rock Iconz projects

Live from the Production Floor

King Diamond – Production is wrapping up next week and the King Diamond Rock Iconz™ Limited Edition Statue will begin the trip to our US warehouse. Looks like and end of February or early March ship. King Diamond has signed all the special certificated and statue bases for the pre-sales give away. They are being set aside now. Looks like and end of February or early March ship date. Stay tuned here for updates next month.

GHOST Papa Emeritus III – GHOST is in final paint revision and will finish production over the next 10 days. Drop testing on the package design was completed this wee and all is go to ship. Looking like early March for Papa. There’s still time to have a chance to get one of the hand-signed Certificates of Authenticity with a pre-order. That will end sometime next month.

Janis Joplin – Janis production is complete, and the statue is being boxed for shipping now. Janis should ship at the end of February. Thanks for your patience on this production.

Rob Zombie – Rob Zombie production is in final stages. We made a small revision to the base over the last few weeks to make it more-sturdy for shipping. The statue is being matched with the hand numbered bases now and will begin packaging this week. A word in your ear, we are pleased to tell you that Rob has also signed (44) special Certificates of Authenticity and they will be given to random fans that have pre-ordered this Rock Iconz Ltd. Edition.

Billy Idol – The newly announced Billy Idol statue is complete and will begin shipping the US warehouse at the end of this month. Looks like an early March ship. This production captures Billy Idol from his debut album era in 1982/83. We have taken some grief on this one from KnuckleBonz fans saying, “we are moving away from metal”. Just because we create something that is, or is not, in a certain musical genre does not say anything about us. We are music fans and will continue to create Ltd. Editions for great music artists. Artists we like and that fans around the world want to see.

Billy Gibbons – The founder of the “Texas Trio” ZZ Top is in final paint and production will wrap up at the end of this month. We has some delay with all our final approvals from Billy because of the holidays, but all’s good and looking like an early March ship date.

Thanks to all for your continued support for KnuckleBonz…we are turning 15 years old, seems like s minute ago we were meeting with Mrs. Rhoads about creating the first KnuckleBonz Ltd. Edition.
