32 Years Without Rock Iconz Steve Clarke of Def Leppard…Rock Misses You.

32 Years Without Rock Iconz Steve Clarke of Def Leppard. Rock Misses You…

Steve Clark lead guitarist and songwriter of the legendary Def Leppard was born in Yorkshire, England in 1960 and began playing guitar at a young age. After being introduced to Joe Elliott and Rick Savage, he became a founding member of Def Leppard in 1977. Steve was an amazing guitar talent but also a major song writer on the monster recordings of Pyromania and the multi-platinum Hysteria in 1987. Steve and Phil Collen immediately became close mates after he joining Def Lepp and were know as the “terror twins” during the bands rise during the raucous 80s.

Hard to believe that it’s been 32 years since we lost Rock Iconz Steve Clarke. Rock in peace…rock misses you.

KnuckleBonz hopes to working with Def Leppard on some cool stull later in 2023…sound off if you agree.

Celebrating the “Crazy Diamond” Rock Iconz Syd Barrett on his Birthday

Syd Barrett a founding member of Pink Floyd was born on this day, 1946. Throughout his life, Barrett created music that blended psychedelia, folk-rock and experimental pop. We were yet to have the “progressive rock” moniker the would become synonymous with Pink Floyd. Syd was one of the first to suggest a music performance might be more of a “look at” event multi-media experience vs. a dance event. His solo career included two albums that included Madcap Laughs.

After Syd’s exit from The Floyd due to metal illness he became the muse for much of the Floyd themes and song writing. Roger Waters is open about Syd’s influence on his writing from Wish You Were and through Pink Floyd The Wall.

KnuckleBonz created a Rock Iconz Ltd. Edition Statue to celebrate Syd from his solo years in 2017. That has been SOLD OUT for many months, but you can still check out out here.

We have created a new Syd Barret Rock Iconz Statue design and hop to release it later in 2023. Hard to believe the 50th anniversary for Dark Side of the Moon is almost upon us…what happened?

Out first design was the grey-scale Jimi Hendrix from circa 1967 when we was taking the music world by storm in London. Death Chuck Schuldiner KnuckleBonz Statue – Box Art “First Looks”

Death Chuck Schuldiner KnuckleBonz Statue – Box Art “First Looks”

Pre-Order Chuck Schuldiner Rock Iconz Ltd. Edition Statue and Scream Bloody Gore 3D Vinyl exclusively from KnuckleBonz Here

We are cranking through the holidays on all our Pre-Order productions and just got approval from the Chuck Schuldiner Estate on that package design. Here’s a 1st look…

Our first concept for the package design used the HUMAN album art and it was very cool. But, Chuck’s Estate felt the Sound of Perseverance art would be most fitting as that is the era for the statue design. The Dynamo Open Air 1998 Eindhoven video was instrumental in the Rock Iconz statue reference. Both the album and that performance were 1998.

Production is going well and the statue should be ready to go out to all Pre-Orders in Spring 2023.

Don’t miss out on our RARE Holiday Sale happening now. SAVE 20% on select KnuckleBonz Collectibles

KnuckleBonz First Looks – Guns N’ Roses Ltd. Edition Statues Box Designs

KnuckleBonz First Looks – Guns N’ Roses Ltd. Edition Statues Box Designs (Just Approved)

Pre-Order the Guns N’ Roses Ltd. Edition Statues exclusively from KnuckleBonz Here

Just got the band’s approval on our new Guns N’ Roses box designs from the band so wanted to share with you hard core KnuckleBonz Krew that tune in here to our Blog.

These designs capture the band from the early 90s, Use Your Illusion era, when GNR was the #1 act in the world headlining festivals and playing to stadium crowds. Hard to believe it was on 5 years or so removed from the debut of Appetite for Destruction. It’s a long way from the Sunset Strip…

Axl Rose’s design has him in the black kilt, combat boots and football jersey. The #22  jersey is honoring the great QB Paul Crewe with the “Mean Machine” design on the back.  Check out the original Longest Yard film from the 70s if you are not following.

Slash’s Rock Iconz Statue  is actually our 3rd design with him. You’ll note Slash does not have his hat in this limited edition. The previous 2 designs from KnuckleBonz had Slash with the signature top hat.  We decided to create him as he mostly appears when you see him live. GNR fans will know he actually only has his hat on for brief moments during a live show. It’s just too damn hot to wear it more than that when under the heat from the lighted stage. We always strive to create live performance moments in our work.

Duff McKagan KnuckleBonz design is looking tall and lean in his black suit and black cowboy hat. Just a great silhouette in this statue design.

Guns N’ Roses Limited Edition Statues from the KnuckleBonz Rock Iconz Series can be orders as a set of 3, or individually. Check out all the GNR collectibles from KnuckleBonz Here
