To celebrate the return of GHOST to the world stage, KnuckleBonz® announced our new Rock Iconz® Cardinal Copia Red Tux (Color Variant) Ltd. Edition Statue. Only 333 have been hand cast for GHOST Superfans worldwide. Pre Order Cardinal Copia (Red) Here for the late Spring/Summer release.

KnuckleBonz announces the Rock Iconz® GHOST Cardinal Copia Limited Edition Statue.

[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY} KnuckleBonz is pleased announce the new Rock Iconz® GHOST Cardinal Copia Limited Edition Statue. This is a paint variant of the good Cardinal in his red tux that he wore during many of the Iron Maiden opening dates on the A Pale Horse named Death Tour.

We have only created a few paint variants in our 19 year history, but the GHOST stage wear makes these a must.

This is a very small edition run, as it is with all our variant release. Only 333 have been cast and detailed for GHOST SuperFans worldwide.

Production is already complete and this Rock Iconz Ltd. Edition is on the way to our US warehouse. Anticipated for a late Spring/Summer release.

GHOST to Perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live !

GHOST will visit Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Thursday Jan 20th for what we hope might be the performance of a new “ritual.”

As GHOST fans know, 2021 had Tobias Forge and the Nameless Ghouls hard at work on a new, yet untitled record. This is all ahead of a co-headlining tour with Volbeat set for later this year. We of course hope those dates stay in place.

GHOST was fortunate to be wrapping up the A Pale Ghost Named Death Tour when the Pandemic took full hold of all of us and started closing the 3rd Stone from the Sun.

To celebrate the GHOST appearance on Kimmel, we will be launching our Rock Iconz® GHOST Cardinal Copia Limited Edition (Paint Variant) Statue for pre-sale tomorrow AM at KnuckleBonz.com. This paint variant had cast statue has the Cardinal in his Red Tux that he sported on many dates from the last tour. Only 333 have been cast for GHOST for Ghost Superfans worldwide.

Enjoy Ghost on Kimmel and will see you at launch hour tomorrow.

QUEEN A Night at The Odeon – The Before and After Moment

On December 24th, 1975 QUEEN recorded a live show at the legendary Hammersmith Odeon in London. The was not released until 2015 and it’s a must listen and see for any QUEEN fan. The set is of course amazing with the first 2 albums featured heavily, but what is really captivating this show is the “before and after” moment for the band. They had peaked at #12 on the US Charts with Sheer Hear Attack and have just released the A Night at the Opera album. Bohemian Rhapsody is featured in a melody of song snippets with no particular fanfare, giving no hint of how the lives of the band would change over the next year. Once A Night at the Opera and the mania of Bohemian Rhapsody takes hold, QUEEN is not longer that super cool progressive rock band that early fans had to themselves….they become one of the biggest recording/live acts in the world. A bitter sweet before and after moment for the fans that were there at the beginning.

KnuckleBonz is currently working with QUEEN and are coming to the end of our initial Rock Iconz Statues for the band. As you know, all KnuckleBonz work are officially licensed limited edition. Check out Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon  circa 1982 here.

We are beginning to design the new QUEEN Rock Iconz statues for tentative release late in 2022. KnuckleBonz is thinking of going back to this QUEEN A Night at The Odeon era for inspiration. Sound off here and let us know what QUEEN fans would like to see.

AC/DC For Those About to Rock Anniversary…The Cannons Fire !!!!

This month marks the anniversary of AC/DC For Those About to Rock album release in 1981. Imagine having to follow up Back in Black with a new studio recording. No place to go but down right? AC/DC’s 8th studio release did nothing but go to #1 in the USA and receive rave critical reviews. Gone on ya’ Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams and Brian Johnson!

The For Those About to Rock world tour added new stage craft with the addition of the AC/DC Cannon. The band closed the set by firing an entire back line of prop cannons that hammered AC/DC Superfans with pulverizing site and sound. The Cannon has been a staple for AC/DC live ever since. We created the Rock Iconz®  On Tour™ Limited Edition Statue to celebrate this iconic piece of stage-dress. The Knucklebonz blog photo shows the Cannon atop amps just like the AC/DC lives shows. Each statue is hand cast and detailed with a hand numbered certificate on the statue top. We have new inventory arriving soon, reserve your AC/DC Rock Iconz On Tour Cannon here.

RIP Mick Rock – The Photographer Who Fell to Earth

Photographer Mick Rock was rock…as much part of the music scene and industry of the 70s and beyond as any musician or performer.

Mick Rock said that he stumbled into photography and had no real understanding that it could be a career. A lot like many of the performers in the early days of rock and popular music. Mick Rock and his photography are responsible for capturing live and candid moments of many of the greatest performers ever like David Bowie, Queen, Syd Barrett, Joan Jett and Debbie Harry. His QUEEN II cover photo is one of the most iconic in music. Mick Rock died today at 72, but like the music we all dig, he lives on forever in his work….

For us at KnuckleBonz, the visual aspects of music are equally important as the music itself. It the only reason we are company focused on creating for Superfans like you. Great images like the photos of Mick Rock are the rocket fuel that will propel us everyday…RIP MICK ROCK

Check out some of Muck Rock’s subjects here in the Rock Iconz and 3D Vinyl Collectible Series at www.KnuckleBonz.com

Rock Iconz – Black Sabbath on the Rock Walk of Fame

On this day in 1992 Black Sabbath was inducted in the the Rock Walk of Fame in Hollywood, CA. Unlike the other walk of fame in Tinsletown, this is reserved for all our rock music heroes.

Our Rock Iconz Statue Series has been fortunate enough to work with Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi on limited edition designs.

Tony’s statue is from the Black Sabbath era circa 1972 with him in one of the flowing silk tops. This was before going to the signature black stage wear. That Rock Iconz is in stock. Ships today, order here.

Ozzy’s Rock Iconz designs have been more from his solo era. Those designs are long since SOLD OUT, but we do have Ozzy Osbourne Diary of a Madman and Bark at the Moon 3D Vinyl is limited supply. Don’t miss out, once the are SOLD OUT, they are gone forever. We have never rereleased any SOL OUT design in the history of KnuckleBonz. Order Here

We still hold out hope to create a set for the band adding Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. But, as you know, licensing for bands that are no longer performing together can be a challenge. KnuckleBonz only created officially licensed work.
